Dr Andrew Davies, Swallownest Health Centre.

Chairman, Rotherham LMC

Andy went to Medical School and qualified in 1998. He completed his Basic Surgical Training before joining Rotherham VTS and has worked at Swallownest since joining in August 2005. Medical interests include Musculoskeletal/Joint injections, Men’s Health and Mental Health. He has also been a trainer at the practice since 2009. Andy joined Rotherham LMC in April 2013 and was elected as Chair in April 2019.  

Andy’s main interest is cycling in the Peaks where he is more than happy being overtaken by more able cyclists. He also enjoys running, walking and skiing, as well as eating all different types of cuisines. These days he spends most of his time taxiing his two boys around for their different sporting activities having forced them from a very early age to take up all the sports their dad used to enjoy.  

Dr Julie Eversden, Dinnington Medical Centre.

Julie qualified as a Doctor at Sheffield medical school in 1995 and has been a GP in Dinnington since 2000 and is a GP Trainer. Living and working in the practice area can sometimes lead to interesting conversations at the school gates, but also means she is passionate about improving local services and health provision for her friends and family as well as patients. Medical interests include cancer and dementia and women's health. She joined the LMC in April 2016. Julie is married to a teacher, has 3 sons and a labrador and enjoys singing in a local ladies' choir, playing the piano and caravan holidays.
